Meowlnir v21 Update


This may be the last update before the jam cutoff! I'll try to sneak another in but I'm pretty tired. It's been a blast working on Meowlnir and I learned a lot crammed into two weeks; about Unity and about what I'm capable of. I'm not sure what's next outside of this jam, but I'm excited for the future!

Updates for v21 of Meowlnir:

More cats! Cat paws added to Meowlnir sprite and Thunder attack. Cat animation added to Chain Lightning attack.

More difficulty! Enemy health now scales with player level. 

More Bifrost! Well just a spawn animation for beginning the level.

Running into walls now causes sparks visual. 

Tuned up some keyboard menu controls and UI visual feedback. 

Removed Coin drops, Luck and Pick Up Range upgrades. Don't have time to fully implement before the deadline.

Damage text brightened.

Fixed a bug where Hugin was flying backwards.

Turned down the volume on Bifrost Beam. I don't think this is the root of the problem but maybe it'll help.

Added Thanks for Playing! graphic at stage complete.
